Halloween is creeping closer, and this year we’re inviting our clients to get creative and give their McCarthy Holden property board a suitably spooky makeover!
Whether your property is For Sale, Sold, To Let or Let, transform your board with pumpkins, cobwebs, ghosts, bats, witches – or anything else frighteningly creative. We’d love to see just how spook-tacular you can make it.

The winning creation will receive a £150 voucher, so it’s time to raid the Halloween decorations and put your imagination to work!
The competition is open to all McCarthy Holden vendors, landlords and tenants.
How to Enter
Once your board has had its Halloween transformation, simply take a photo and send it to your McCarthy Holden Property Manager by 30th October 2026 to be entered into the competition.
Don’t currently have a McCarthy Holden board outside your property?
No board, no problem! Let us know and we’ll arrange for one for you.
We can’t wait to see the spooky, silly and downright scary creations appearing across the local area this October.

Competition Terms & Conditions
The competition is open to current McCarthy Holden vendors, landlords and tenants aged 18 or over. Employees of McCarthy Holden and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
To enter, decorate your McCarthy Holden For Sale, Sold, To Let or Let board for Halloween and send a photograph of the finished board to your McCarthy Holden Property Manager.
Entries must be received by 30 October 2026. Entries received after this date will not be considered.
One entry per property.
One winner will receive a £150 voucher for a local restaurant of their choice, subject to availability and the restaurant being able to provide a suitable voucher. No cash alternative will be offered.
The winner will be selected by McCarthy Holden based on the creativity and originality of the Halloween decoration. The decision of the judging panel will be final.
The winner will be contacted using the contact details held by McCarthy Holden. If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, McCarthy Holden reserves the right to select another winner.
By entering, entrants agree that photographs of their decorated board may be used by McCarthy Holden on its website and social media channels in connection with the competition. No entrant’s name or identifiable personal information will be published without their agreement.
Decorations must be safe, lawful and must not obstruct the highway, pavement, visibility or access to the property.
McCarthy Holden reserves the right to reject any entry considered inappropriate, offensive or unsafe.
