The Property

A Spacious 3/4 bedroom detached bungalow in a plot of around a third of an acre in a quiet semi rural village location. Having been reconfigured and modernised in recent years the house now offers flexible, open plan living.

Accommodation

Entering through the front door there is a spacious hallway with oak flooring, leading immediately to a large utility/boot room with generous fitted storage. Beyond there is the inner hall which provides access to the rest of the house. The main living area is a wonderful open plan space comprising of a high specification kitchen area with stone worksurfaces, shaker style cabinetry and stone tile flooring. The kitchen is open to a dining area which leads on to the living room, which has a log burner in the fireplace and bi-folding doors leading out the patio and garden.

The main bedroom is rear aspect and very generous in size, with a full wall of fitted wardrobes. There is an adjoining en-suite which has been fitted as a fully tiled wetroom, with large shower area. Bedroom two is good double room, is front aspect with fitted wardrobes and also benefits from an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath configuration. Bedroom three is also a front aspect double room, currently used as a play room. Bedroom four/the office currently has a large fitted desk/workspace and a continuation of the oak floor throughout, but could also be a generous double bedroom if required. The family bathroom is modern with a large shower cubicle.

Outside

The property is accessed via a timber gate to the large block paved driveway, which in turn leads to an additional gravel parking area - both provide space for a number of vehicles if required. The front garden is a good size with large lawn and some mature trees/shrubs. There is side access to the rear garden which faces south-west. The garden has a tiled patio immediately off the main living area, which leads round to a vegetable garden and onwards to a detached garage used for garden storage. There is also a summer house and a number of mature flower and shrub beds as well as a large area of lawn.
